Graduate Design Engineer (Consultancy)

Graduate Design Engineer Civil & Structural Location : Cork Salary : €35,000 €40,000 Type : Full-time / Permanent A forward-thinking consultancy in Cork is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join their civil & structural design team. This role provides excellent exposure to infrastructure, structural analysis, and design across a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities : Assist in structural and civil design tasks, including calculations, model reviews, and drawing production Work under senior engineers and support project delivery from concept through to construction support Use CAD / BIM tools and structural analysis software to aid design and reporting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, architectural, MEP) and support field visits Develop professional skillset in structural codes, standards, and construction methodologies Requirements : Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or closely related discipline) Strong analytical and numerical skills, with an interest in structural mechanics and design Exposure to CAD or structural modelling tools would be beneficial Excellent communication, initiative and eagerness to learn Full driving licence preferred Whats on Offer : Salary : €35,000 €40,000 depending on experience Structured mentorship and career development path Involvement in technically diverse infrastructure and structural design projects Supportive team, modern office environment, and strong growth opportunity To apply in full confidence, please submit your CV.
