QA Engineer

Location : Ireland (Onsite 3–4 days / week)

Our client, a fast-growing AI startup, are hiring a QA Engineer to join their team in Ireland.

This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI products in a collaborative and innovative environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for manual and automated testing.

Identify, document and track bugs through to resolution, collaborating closely with other team members.

Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and create new ones where needed.

Perform functional, regression, integration and performance testing on web and AI-based applications.

Ensure test coverage and quality standards are met across multiple projects and releases.

Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups and reviews as part of the Agile development process.

Skillset

Proven experience in manual testing (e.g. functional, regression, exploratory).

Strong skills in automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress or similar.

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Java, Python and / or JavaScript.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
