Security Operations & Customer Response Analyst Location : Dublin Type : Full-Time Salary Guide : €65,000 - €85,000 DOE A large global technology organisation is expanding its security function in Dublin and is looking for a Security Operations & Customer Response Analyst. This role suits someone comfortable working across incident triage, customer queries, cloud security investigations, and general threat analysis. You'll act as a key contact point for security-related issues, helping both internal teams and external customers understand risk, respond to incidents, and improve overall security maturity. What You'll Be Doing Handle inbound security queries and investigations, helping drive quick and clear resolution. Support internal teams during security incidents by triaging alerts, coordinating updates, and documenting findings. Review and explain security risks in simple terms for non-technical stakeholders. Maintain strong communication with customers, ensuring trust and clarity across all interactions. Work with engineering and cloud teams to analyse logs, review configurations, and assist with platform security improvements. Develop lightweight playbooks, process docs, and knowledge articles to support security operations. Help identify repetitive tasks and propose automation improvements. Contribute to internal awareness sessions and security best-practice training. Participate in an on-call rotation when required. What You Should Bring 3-5 years' experience in security operations, application security, incident response, or cloud security. Good understanding of cloud concepts and common security tooling (logging, SIEM, WAF, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, etc.). Ability to review application behaviour and recognise common security issues (e.g. basic web vulnerabilities). Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working with incident workflows and customer-facing environments. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
