Responsibilities of Social Workers

• Advocate for individuals, families and groups
• Conducting assessments and evaluations
• Providing emotional support, counselling and therapy to individuals or groups
• A knowledge of the Tusla & HIQA regulations and standards.
• Deliver social work service in collaboration with other disciplines / agencies as required, in appropriate settings reflecting the needs of the service user

Requirements

Drivers Licence / Access to own car

Qualified Social Worker .

CORU registration

Experience working in children and families services

x3 Written References from Education / Previous Employment.

Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting

37.5 hours a week
