Overview

The Head of AI & Automation at Staycity Group will spearhead the integration and advancement of AI and automation technologies throughout the organization.

This role blends hands-on software engineering with strategic leadership, enabling departments to leverage AI effectively.

The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team focused on automation and AI implementation, balancing coding responsibilities with strategic oversight and training initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a small specialized team consisting of software automation engineers, an AI project manager, an AI data scientist, and an AI engineer.

Evaluate, select, and implement AI tools and platforms, guiding the organization\'s technology choices.

Identify, assess, and prioritize AI-driven opportunities within various departments based on clear return on investment metrics.

Conduct thorough "buy vs build" evaluations for AI software and solutions.

Develop and maintain a strategic AI roadmap aligning with business goals.

Code, review, and oversee the implementation of automation solutions.

Design and conduct AI literacy training programs across the organization.

Foster systematic thinking about AI applications and implications in business processes.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI, or related fields.

Proven experience in software development, automation, and AI technologies.

Solid experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects.

Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Mandatory AI literacy, with deep familiarity in AI trends, tools, and platforms.

Deep understanding of GenAI platforms and how they can be leveraged and embedded into automated systems.
