Senior Maintenance Technician Location : Co. Kildare Pay : €66,000 Shifts : Earlies and Lates - no nights Overview Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician ready to take the next step in your career? We're hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician for a leading food manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on, leadership-oriented role where you'll support technicians, drive equipment reliability, and play a key part in continuous improvement projects. Responsibilities As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will : Lead and support maintenance teams during breakdowns and planned maintenance. Drive machine reliability and improvement initiatives. Train and mentor technicians and apprentices. Support audits, health & safety compliance, and lean projects. Manage spare parts and assist with commissioning new equipment. Rotate across a variety of shift patterns to support plant operations. Criteria We're looking for someone who brings : 2+ years' experience in a maintenance technician role. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Experience with food processing equipment (e.g. thermoformers, weighers, cookers). Leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset. Familiarity with GMP, EHS, and lean principles.
