We have an exciting opening for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our client, a leading M&E contractor in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in design, construction, and safety management.

    • Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive design reviews of drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance with industry standards and project QA plans.
  • Develop alternative engineering solutions with detailed calculations and sketches for client approval.
  • Familiarize with Design / IFC specs and drawings to ensure scope and spec compliance; manage RFIs for client communication.
  • Utilize engineering software (e.g., Dialux, Relux, Amtech Pro Design, Navisworks, BIM 360, Procore).
  • Review construction drawings and prepare technical submittals for client approval.
  • Evaluate specialist supplier packages for spec compliance.
  • Coordinate with procurement to prepare and monitor the procurement schedule.
  • Review BCAR preliminary inspection plans and coordinate with the quality team.

  • Level 7 / 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong IT and communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet strict deadlines
