Kiltipper Woods Care Centre - Dublin 24 We are currently looking to recruit apart-time Café / Kitchen Assistantto join our highly motivated and focused Kitchen Team.

Kiltipper Woods Care Centre provides a comprehensive range of specialist nursing care, rehabilitation and convalescence care.

Main duties and responsibilities include : Responsible for the smooth operation of the coffee shop.

Maintain comprehensive menu, and ensure customer satisfaction To ensure all procedures (HACCP, Health & Safety and Food Safety Management) are maintained to the required standards, including food temperatures, date recordings, correct storage of food Cleaning and preparation of the Coffee Shop and outside eating area to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to all customers To be creative and assist in dish and menu development and planning.

Participates in evaluating new recipes and products To be creative in the presentation of food and dishes To participate in the organization of ordering, cost control and wastage of food To implement and follow strict rules of personal hygiene Participates in the preparation of food and beverages following standardised recipes and procedures Estimates food needs for the coffee shop on a daily basis Replenishing food and beverage levels throughout the day as appropriate Preparing and serving hot and cold dishes, sandwiches and confectioneries Plans and maintains the storage and use of leftover and uncooked food Ensure adequate stock of crockery, cutlery and napkins The ideal candidate will have : Ability to work efficiently and keep calm under pressure Stamina and enthusiasm Ability to work well in a team Good communication skills High standards of personal hygiene Passionate interest in food and catering Food Hygiene Training is desirable Must possess a valid work permit Benefits : A modern state-of-the-art facility A pleasant working environment Relaxed atmosphere Comprehensive Induction programme Earliest start is 8 : 00 am Latest finish 5 : 30 pm Ongoing training opportunities Staff discount in Café Free onsite parking Kiltipper Woods Care Centre is an equal-opportunity employer.
