Post 2362 - Organisational Change Lead Dublin(NBC) Post 2362 Organisational Change Lead, Human Resources Department Full Time Permanent National Blood Centre The IBTS is currently recruiting a full-time, permanent Organisational Change Lead based in the Human Resources Department, National Blood Centre. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a diverse public sector body responsible for collecting, processing, testing and distributing blood and blood products in Ireland. The IBTS relies completely on the generosity of voluntary, non-remunerated donors to provide sufficient donations to ensure a consistent supply of blood and blood components to patients. The Organisational Change Lead will play a critical role in shaping and guiding the Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) through transformational change. This role is responsible for driving change and organisational development initiatives through working with LEAN principles that align with strategic goals, foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, and ensure the effective implementation of change across all levels of the organisation. The Change Lead will champion best practices in change management and organisational development, using structured methodologies, such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotters Model, McKinsey Seven S Model to plan, deliver, and embed sustainable change while supporting people through transition and delivering impactful organisational outcomes. Reporting to the HR Director and working closely with the PMO and key stakeholders, the role will identify performance gaps, assess organisational readiness, manage resistance, and build internal capability to adapt to evolving needs. Through strong communication, strategic thinking, and a people-centric approach, the Organisational Change Lead will help to successfully embed new ways of working, enhance employee engagement, and deliver long-term value for the organisation. The Change Lead will operate in partnership with the PMO, ensuring that assigned organisational change activities are integrated with the IBTS Project & Change Delivery Framework. The post holder will maintain accountability to the Head of PMO, in alignment with the HR Director. Essential Criteria : Education / Certification : Bachelors degree or Masters in Change Management, Organisational Development / Psychology, Business or comparable field Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Demonstrated complex organisationalchange success increasing change capabilities and achieving set targets such asreducing cost, reducing risk, improving ways of working. Demonstrated experience and success applying structured change management andorganisational development models such as Prosci ADKAR, McKinsey 7 S Model or Kotters Model in complex, multi-stakeholder environments delivering organisational transformation outcomes. Experience working with portfolio management to align change adoption with programme and portfolio outcomes. Desirable Criteria : Project Management Qualification LEAN Yellow Belt certification IBTS Human Resources Forms Interim Job Description Form : Version 1.0 : January 2022 Page 4 of 5 Experience in the following sectors is advantageous : Public Sector or Civil Service Healthcare, Pharma or Manufacturing The salary scale attached to the post is the Grade VII scale €60,013 to €78,015 (incl. LSI) pro rata per annum. Entry point onto the salary scale is dependent upon relevant experience. The closing date for receipt of applications is 23 : 45 hrs (Irish Time) on Friday 17th October 2025.
