are seeking applications from experienced nurse managers for the role of

Director of Nursing

for a medium size nursing home in West Cork.

Requirements :

Must be active on the general register as maintained by the NMBI.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior nursing position in Care of the Older Person over the past 6 years is essential.

Post registration qualification in dementia care, highly desirable.

A post registration management qualification in health or a related field required.

Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.

Evidence of continuous professional development

IT skills
