Operations, Process & People Leadership (Tax Oversight), Managing Director at State Street.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Lead and coordinate operational execution across tax-related processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and simplification of workflows.

Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

Managing client relationships with a strong focus on collaboration and adherence to SLAs.

Act as the primary interface between tax operations and key stakeholders.

Oversee service delivery from external vendors, including performance tracking and issue resolution.

Ensure adherence to internal procedures and contribute to the evolution of the Target Operating Model (TOM).

Support strategic projects and transformation initiatives.

What We Value

Proven track record in operations or process management.

10+ years experience in a related role

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Experienced in handling challenging clients through expertise, communication, and relationship management.

Driving a strong risk and control environment including conduct, ethical behaviour and risk excellence / speak up culture

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Familiarity with tax operations or financial reporting is a plus.

Fluent in English & German
