Mechanical qa manager

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical QA / QC Manager for a Data Centre project in Charleroi, Belgium.

Skills and Requirements Academic and / or trades qualifications in mechanical discipline 10 years Mech?QAQC?experience in Industrial-type projects with minimum 5years experience in a Lead role Role will be Client facing so good communication skills and presentation is essential.

Ability to present specification requirements and demonstrate compliance is essential.

Data centre experience preferable but not essential Knowledge and experience of piping and HVAC system required Weld inspection qualifications required.

Familiarity with EN standards required.

Role will comprise?QAQC?walkdown, inspection and documentation associated with Equipment; Piping systems (carbon steel); HVAC ducting systems; Plumbing & drainage systems; Preparation of test packs; witnessing of pressure testing; Maintaining and presenting weld information & records; Weekly reporting on?QAQC?performance; troubleshooting; preparation of punch lists; punch clearance verification The candidate will be required to work closely with the Project Manager and construction team to ensure quality standards are achieved with minimal snags.
