HGV Mechanic North Dublin

Excel Recruitment are looking for a HGV Mechanic Distribution Company based in North Co. Dublin to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing HGVs to ensure their safety and reliability. Responsibilities Performing routine maintenance and thorough inspections on HGVs to uphold safety and compliance standards Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in HGVs Carrying out comprehensive inspections and testing of HGV components to proactively identify and prevent potential breakdowns Maintaining accurate service and repair records for all completed work Collaborating with the team to effectively prioritize and manage workload Must work a saturday once a month Qualifications National Craft Certificate / Level 6 Minimum of 3 year's experience as an HGV Mechanic or in a similar role Proficiency in all areas of HGV repairs, inspections, and maintenance Knowledge of diagnostic equipment is essential Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Flexibility and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Day-to-Day Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing of HGVs to the highest standard Utilizing diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues with HGVs Repairing and replacing faulty parts or components as required Communicating effectively with colleagues and management to ensure efficient workflow Maintaining a clean and organized work environment Experience with Daf Trucks Reefer trailers (Chereau / Grey Adam) Tail Lifts (Dhollandia / Zepro) Terms & Conditions Full-time permanent position Monday to Friday, with occasional half-day Saturday Competitive Salary dependent on experience and qualifications Immediate start for suitable candidates Please apply for this HGV Mechanic Job accordingly.
