Quality Inspection Specialist

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspection Specialist to join our client, a leading packaging and labelling manufacturer on an initial 6-month contract (great scope for extension / permanency). This company is based in Mallow, Cork and the role will involve working onsite here as well as at a customer site in Carrigtwohill, Cork on an ad-hoc basis. Role Responsibilities : Development of work and test plans based on the accurate interpretation of customer project documentation. Carry out detailed and accurate inspections on the products as defined in the test plans to meet customer expectations. Carry out assembly of the packages to be tested as per the test plan to meet customer expectations. Accurate recording of all inspection and assembly activity using current Good Documentation Practices as defined by ISC Labs quality documentation. Provide regular updates on progress against schedule to the customer and project engineer as required. Schedule time on site for inspection and assembly and the required testing with the vendor ensuring project timelines are maintained. Point of contact for customer concerns ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded. Ensure training records are kept up to date. Role Requirements : Experience working in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment. Has to have strong GMP / Good Documentation experience. Ideally experience in QC / QA.
