API Integration Specialist

We're looking for a skilled API Integration Specialist to join our Professional Services team in Ireland. In this dynamic role, you'll serve as the crucial link between our customers and development teams, delivering seamless integration solutions that drive efficiency and value. What You'll Do : - Collaborate directly with customers to understand their integration needs, particularly around Accounts Payable and related systems. - Design and document robust API integration solutions that connect our platform with external systems. - Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, including data mappings and API endpoint definitions. - Work closely with developers to ensure integrations are built to spec and aligned with best practices. - Support customer testing by preparing test data and validating integration accuracy and performance. - Troubleshoot integration issues and provide clear, actionable guidance to both customers and internal teams. - Continuously improve integration methodologies and documentation to enhance delivery efficiency. What You Bring : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Analysis, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 3 years' experience designing and documenting API integrations in a customer-facing role. - Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and web service standards; familiarity with SOAP is a plus. - Experience with Accounts Payable systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and integration platforms like MuleSoft or Dell Boomi. - Proficiency in tools such as Postman, SoapUI and Swagger. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
