Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

TJ O' Mahony, Glasnevin, Ballyboggan Road, Glasnevin, D11 H003, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Irelands' leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement / DIY Store, is looking for a full-time, Permanent,  Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver  to join our Team.

Job Purpose :   Maintain the yard to a high standard. Operate yard machinery and provide deliveries to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Check order and dockets prior to departure.
• Ensure deliveries are delivered on time.
• Ensure all PODs are signed and returned to the office on time.
• Complete daily vehicle and load checks and report any incidents on the day.
• Ensure loads are secured pre-departure. Adherence to compliance with Health and Safety and Road Safety.
• Multi drops and Branch to Branch runs.
• Driving long and / or short distances.
• Planning delivery schedules and routes with the Branch Manager.
• Handling freight in a safe, efficient manner.
• Helping load and unload goods.
• Documenting the required important readings and lorry quantities including commodities in the driver's logbook.
• Build excellent customer relationships.

Requirements :

Hours :  39 hours per week (Monday-Saturday)
