HGV Mechanic

Job Title : HGV Mechanic Location : North County Dublin Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00-17 : 00 or 9 : 00-18 : 00 Pay : €20 - €28 per hour (depending on experience) About the Role On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team based in North County Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent pay and a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. The successful candidate will play a key role in servicing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of HGVs, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance of HGVs. Diagnose and repair faults with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Perform brake testing, clutch replacements, and engine diagnostics. Ensure all vehicles meet road safety and compliance standards. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment. Requirements Qualified HGV Mechanic (or equivalent experience in heavy vehicle maintenance). Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience with modern diagnostic tools and repair techniques. Full, clean driving licence (HGV licence an advantage). Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering high-quality work. What's on Offer €20 - €28 per hour, depending on experience. Monday to Friday hours (8 : 00-17 : 00 or 9 : 00-18 : 00).
