Senior Scala Developer - Hybrid-Working Model - Daily Rate Contract Excellent Scala role has just opened to join an expanding development team working on global projects. Skills Required : Must haves : Strong background in Scala development in large scale high performance systems. Experience writing software that stores and searches large volumes of data in data stores (e.g. SQL / NoSQL databases). Use of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration. Scrum / Agile experience. Follows clean code principles and TDD. Experience with working on data repository tools like git, bit bucket, subversion etc. Have a passion for developing best in class technology solutions. A team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, e.g. believe in pair programming, collaborative working skills. Desirable : Experience of having worked in the Financial Industry will be an advantage. Front end or service side web technology experience.
