General Operative - Plant Hygienist (cleaning) Job title : General Operative - Plant Hygienist (Cleaning) Reporting to : Quality Manager - Casein Division : Ingredients Location : Nenagh The Role : Key elements of the job include : Maintaining plant hygiene in dedicated areas with a focus on cleaning, achieving and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene. Assisting with clearing blockages when required within the production process. Working in accordance with site standards and SOP. Recording leaks and fabrication issues daily and accurately Following all Arrabawn GMP's / SOPS and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitary requirements. Documenting all required information in a timely manner consistent with our systems in line with BRC, traceability, customer and HACCP requirements. Maintaining all records for hygiene. To maintain a safe environment, reporting any health & safety incidents or concerns immediately. Ensuring strict adherence to zoning procedures. Performing all other duties deemed appropriate, necessary, required, or directed by plant management. The Hours : The role will require the person to be flexible. Typical hours are either 06.00-14.30 or 08.00-16.30 but may be subject to alteration. Operators are required to work a seven-day roster system. The person : The person will preferably have experience working in a food environment. Person must be able to work with general cleaning chemicals. Strong attention to detail. High motivation who works well without supervision. Team-worker with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English written and oral. Ability to multi-task and is a self-starter.
