Systems Analyst

Job Title : Systems Analyst (Actuarial / Finance) About the Role : Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Analyst with expertise in Actuarial and Finance to join their team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business and IT, ensuring the successful delivery of end-to-end solutions, including analysis, design, testing, and deployment. The position requires occasional availability to work across North American and European time zones during critical quarter-end reporting periods. Key Responsibilities : Translate business needs into clear designs and produce high-quality builds and documentation. Communicate system functionality to business and IT teams at various levels. Perform unit and functional testing of designs. Develop a solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting practices. Design and implement data integration for inbound / outbound requirements. Participate in all phases of the solution delivery lifecycle, from analysis to deployment. Scope, estimate, and manage work for large projects. Conduct complex analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Build effective working relationships with stakeholders and teams. Provide global support during critical quarter-end reporting timelines. Qualifications : Degree in Actuarial, Finance, Technology, or equivalent education and experience. Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting; knowledge of Insurance Actuarial processes is an advantage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to scope, estimate, and manage large projects. Independent and efficient in managing time and resources. Strong documentation skills. Preferred Skills : Experience with data integration design and testing. Familiarity with the end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle. Ability to articulate system functionality across diverse teams.
