Setting Out Engineer

Setting-Out Engineer A Setting-Out Engineer required for a Main Building Contractor to work on a apartment project in West Dublin.

Duties : The setting-out Engineer will execute accurate setting out of construction tasks in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project criteria.

Establish reference points, grades, and benchmarks to ensure precise measurement and alignment.

The setting-out Engineer will work closely with project stakeholders to clarify and apply setting out requirements.

Uphold high health and safety standards throughout all activities.

The setting-out Engineer will operate surveying tools, including total stations, GPS, and laser levels, to achieve precise measurements and layouts, while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements : 3 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK.

3rd level degree in Construction / Civil Engineering.

Proficiency with the use of Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out.
