Louth Tredagh Lodge Day care is currently recruiting for a Day Centre Nurse, working 16 hours per week.

This is a permanent contract of employment based in Tredagh Lodge Day Care, Newtown Link Road, Greenhills, Drogheda Co.

Louth A92 PYV9 The Alzheimer Society of Ireland works across the country in the heart of local communities providing dementia specific services and supports and advocating for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia and their carers.

You will need good communication, organisation and management skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

You must be registered with An Bord Altranais as RN or RMN.

Proof of registration will be required prior to commencement.

This role promotes a model of care which is person centred, community focused and has an appreciation of the needs of the carer.

The purpose of this position is to ensure that as many clients as possible are cared for in a safe and stimulating environment appropriate to their individual needs to the highest possible standard.

To be successful in this role you will need experience of working with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities.

Registered with NMBI is essential.

We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with the care sector, and dependent on relevant experience.
