Job Description

Intermediate Quantity Surveyor required for one of Irelands leading building and civil engineering companies. Work on landmark projects while being mentored in your development towards a Senior QS.

This is a great opportunity to join one of Irelands most reputable contractors and work on some of Irelands landmark projects. Working within a well-established team you will work to deliver projects on time, while maintaining good relationships and maximising commercial returns. You will be well mentored and supported as you progress from intermediate to senior level over the coming years.

The main responsibilities will be :

Ensure effective delivery of all the commercial requirements of the project.
Responsible for controlling costs and ensuring budgets are achieved.
Provide accurate and informed reporting of the commercial performance of the project.
Managing the preparation and evaluation of subcontract packages and assist in the preparation of interim and final valuations.

The ideal candidate will :

Possess a relevant third level qualification.

Have 5 experience working on large commercial projects.

Be comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders on a large project.

Have excellent IT and report writing skills.
