Role : Area Sales Manager – Render Products

Location : On the Road – Covering North Leinster, Midlands and the West

Job Type : Permanent - Full time

Salary : Negotiable depending on experience

At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Area Sales Manager to join our client’s growing team based to cover North Leinster, Midlands and the West of Ireland. Represent industry-leading building products within the Republic of Ireland, delivering profitable growth through contractor and distributor pull-through business, maintaining specifications with housebuilders and key partners.

Your new role includes :

Drive sales through proactive engagement with contractors, distributors, and housebuilders.

Identify discretionary and unspecified sales opportunities with key customer groups.

Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the contractor, merchant, and housebuilder network.

Engage regularly with sales teams and decision-makers to influence project outcomes

Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline, and market insights.

Actively participate in sales meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience you need :

A relevant Business degree or qualification is desirable.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Experience with render products is advantageous

Proven experience in distribution, contractor, and project sales, ideally within construction or building products.

Strong track record of securing business with housebuilders, contractors, and distributors / merchants.

Skilled in value-based selling and tailoring solutions to meet customer needs
