Excel Recruitment is searching for a Deputy Hotel Manager for a beautiful property in Co. Kerry. We are excited to partner with our client to find the right match for this busy hotel offering an extensive restaurant menu alongside a large conference and events department. Responsibilities of General Hotel Manager : Oversee the daily operations of all departments of hotel, working closely with Heads of Departments to provide an efficient, friendly service to guests Manage annual, monthly, weekly and daily forecasting by supporting and coaching HOD's in both sales and operations to maximise revenue Set the staffing structure in such a way the roles are clearly defined and each team member has the tools and capability to do their job Support the recruitment, on-boarding process to ensure all staff are trained in all relevant areas Manage all aspects of the hotel ensuring staff can deliver a first class service to guests whilst complying with all legislative requirements Oversee staffing levels in all departments, ensuring schedules are maintained in line with business forecasting Lead by example by providing a professional hands-on approach to customer care and housekeeping Requirements of General Hotel Manager : Minimum 2 years experience at General, Deputy General or Operations Manager level in a busy 3 or 4 Star hotel with a busy wedding and event business Level 6 or higher in Hotel, Catering or Tourism Management Excellent IT skills Strong finance acumen with ability to understand margins, budgets and P&L Permission to work full-time in Ireland without sponsorship Benefits : This role is a hands-on role which will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to join a large organisation with a diverse portfolio of business with limitless career development in time.
