Exciting opportunity with established leading consultancy - Hybrid flexibility - West Ireland location

Civil Engineer with 2-5+ years experience, quired to join a leading Irish-owned, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with over 70 years experience. This practice has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering and project management services across a wide range of projects. At the heart of this companys vision is a commitment to technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the engineering sector. Projects include large Infrastructure, Industrial, Commercial, and Local Authority developments. Projects : State of the art office development in Dublin - €54m Airport development projects - €18m 200-unit, 3 storey apartment block - €60m 12,000 capacity sports facility €60m Role : The successful Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing preliminary and detailed designs, drawings, and technical reports. Assist in the procurement of site investigations, tender documentation, and contract administration. Collaborate closely with Project Managers and senior engineers to ensure designs are delivered on time and within budget. Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design queries and progress projects. Opportunity to mentor junior engineers and review their work, supporting their technical development. Requirements : Min Level 7 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent). 2 + years experience in civil design, ideally with experience on Irish projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, with a willingness to develop skills in AutoCAD 3D / BIM (Revit experience desirable). Knowledge of MicroDrainage, MS Project, and / or GIS software (ArcGIS, MapInfo) desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, team-focused approach. Must be already based in Ireland and available to start without the need for relocation or visa processing.
