A leading Building Services Consultancy is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their Dublin-based team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile commercial, industrial, and residential projects. As part of a dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and delivery of innovative and sustainable building services solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and oversee mechanical building services systems , including HVAC, plumbing, and water supply systems
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors to deliver design solutions that meet project requirements
- Produce and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Ensure designs comply with local and international building regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental considerations
- Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including on-site visits and commissioning activities
- Identify and propose energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions
- Support tender processes by preparing cost estimates, technical specifications, and procurement documents
