C Licence Driver - Temporary

Our client a busy manufacturing site based in Naas is seeking a reliable C Licence Driver for an immediate temporary assignment.

You'll primarily operate on-site across the Naas facility, with occasional short movements on public roads.

This role focuses on the safe, efficient movement of goods, trailers, and vehicles within a busy food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Safely drive rigid C-class vehicles mainly within site boundaries, with some short public-road movements between locations.

Complete vehicle checks, record defects, and ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and compliant.

Use digital tachograph correctly and maintain accurate records.

Follow CPC and company safety procedures, speed limits, and site traffic plans.

Manoeuvre trucks into loading bays and parking areas with precision.

Liaise with dispatch, warehouse, and security to coordinate movements and turnaround times.

Support ad-hoc logistics tasks (e.g., securing loads, documentation handover).

Reliable, safety-focused, and good communicator

Requirements (must have)

Full C Licence (in-date)

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Valid Driver CPC Card (up-to-date modules)

Good understanding of road safety, walk-around checks, and tachograph rules

Proven experience with yard / site driving and tight manoeuvres

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR AN IMMEDIATE START

Offer

€18.00 per hour

Set schedule : Monday–Friday,

7 : 00am–3 : 30pm
