What Youll Be Doing Own the commercial function across multiple large-scale projects & frameworks Lead and mentor a team of professionals while collaborating with senior management across the business. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost plans to ensure financial targets are met Lead procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and subcontractor management Provide commercial insight and reporting to senior leadership Drive commercial strategy & be at the centre of decision making Identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and industry standards Support tendering and bid submissions for future pipeline work EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field 10+ years experience in commercial roles within the construction industry Proven success managing the commercial aspects of large, complex projects Strong knowledge of contract forms (RIAI, FIDIC, NEC, etc.) Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills Proficiency in cost management tools and Microsoft Office Excellent reporting & analytical skills Flexible and self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities Benefits : Company Pension Scheme Company Vehicle Laptop, iPhone, iPad Annual Bonus Access to Wellbeing Support both in-house & external Member of the Sustainability School Family Friendly Bike to Work Scheme Skills : Commercial Contracts Construction Commercial Management Manage profitability Cost Planning Contracts management Commercial risks Benefits : Pension Company Vehicle Annual Bonus / 13th Cheque Sustainability Bike To Work Family Friendly
