Design Build Search are working with a growing civil contractor who have an opening for a Setting out Engineer in Dublin. Our client is involved in residential and commercial projects. This position will provide structured career progression to the successful applicant. Immediate start. Minimum : Degree in Civil Engineering Setting out experience Previous experience with main or sub-contractor Full clean Irish driving license Knowledge of construction techniques - competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, with an understanding of temporary works co-ordination. Strong numeracy and record keeping skills, excellent organisational ability Understanding of project planning and programming Purpose of Role Set out the construction works on site and ensure that all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations. Role Responsibilities Assist the management and Senior Engineer with day-to-day management of the site technical & engineering requirements ( Assist the Project Manager / Senior Engineer so that quality control measures on the site are implemented and are in line with the overall BCAR plan for the project. Understand the short-term programme ensuring that all requisite documents and information is available to enable the Project Team and Sub-contractors to complete the works in accordance with the programme. Work with the Project Team to identify any information gaps, develop solutions and rectify in conjunction with the site and design team in a timely manner.
