Operations Accountant

Morgan McKinley are working with a client who are seeking a proactive operational finance accountant to support site-level reporting and drive continuous improvement across yield, stock, labour and cost reporting. This role partners with operational teams and senior finance leaders to ensure financial accuracy, actionable insights, and performance accountability, with long-term career growth potential. Key Responsibilities : Deliver accurate weekly and monthly site reporting in partnership with the Financial Controller Prepare and present Continuous Improvement (CI) reports on cost and efficiency metrics Reconcile commercial and P&L gross margins, investigating discrepancies Build and present CAPEX proposals for senior review Support operational performance meetings with data-driven insights Analyse yield, labour efficiency, SKU mix impact, operational spend, inventory movement, and DIO trends Identify and report R&D tax credit opportunities Requirements : Part or fully qualified accountant with experience in site / operations finance or management accounting Background in manufacturing or FMCG preferred Confident communicator across functions and with senior stakeholders Collaborative, proactive and performance-focused Benefits : Competitive Package Immediate Start Permanent Opportunity Skills : Operations Accounting Reporting
