We’re currently working with a leading European reinsurance provider to recruit an Actuarial Reporting Manager (IFRS) for their Dublin-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected organisation with a significant footprint in the European insurance and reinsurance markets.
This position is being offered on a 12 month FTC basis.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in IFRS actuarial reporting, as well as contribute to economic capital reporting, assumption-setting, model development, and management information production. This is a technically rich role that blends financial reporting with strategic actuarial insight, offering strong career development potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the production and review of IFRS reserves, delivering to Group and for local financial statements under tight deadlines.
- Contribute to other actuarial functions including EBS, BSCR, capital forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.
- Develop and enhance actuarial models and tools to support IFRS and broader financial reporting.
- Lead or contribute to the assumption-setting process for reinsured life portfolios.
- Maintain and improve internal control frameworks and process documentation.
- Provide clear analysis and recommendations to senior management on financial drivers and business performance.
- Support and potentially manage more junior team members and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Candidate Profile :
Qualified actuary, with 5–10 years of experience in life insurance or reinsurance.Proven experience in IFRS actuarial reporting; familiarity with EBS or similar asset-based reporting regimes is a strong advantage.Technically strong, with the ability to explain complex actuarial results to senior stakeholders.Prior people management or mentoring experience is a plus but not required.Why Apply?
