Job Title :  Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Location :  Navan and surrounding areas

Fulltime & Parttime Positions Available

Morning, Afternoon & Evening availability

Pay : Up to €17.00 per hour

This is a home care role  - You will be visiting and supporting clients in  their own homes  in Navan.

NO VISA SPONSORSHIP all applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland.

At  Bluebird Care Meath , we're expanding our team in  Navan , and we're looking for dedicated  Healthcare Assistants  to join us in delivering top quality care to people in the comfort of their own homes.

What is Home Care?

As a  Home Care Assistant , you'll support people in  their own homes , helping them stay independent and live with dignity in their community.

You are not based in a hospital or nursing home, you travel from home to home within your local area.

Pay & Benefits :

  • Up to  €15.00 / hour  for qualified and experienced carers
  • Up to  €17.00 / hour on Sundays
  • Double pay  on Bank Holidays

    • Your Role Will Include :

  • Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Helping with meals and feeding support
  • Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
  • Light housekeeping (tidying, laundry, etc.)
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transfers
  • Accurately following and documenting care plans
  • Encouraging independence, dignity, and wellbeing

    • What You'll Need :

    We welcome both new and experienced carers who have :

    QQI Level 5  modules in :

  • Care Skills or Healthcare Support
  • Care of the Older Person

    • OR

  • 1+ year of care experience and a willingness to complete the two required modules (provided  FREE  by us)
  • Good spoken and written English
  • A full, Irish driving licence an access to a vehicle is required.
  • Legal right to work in Ireland -  sponsorship not available
