Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant - Galway This role will suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) with around 5 years post-qualification experience in practice or industry, who thrives on responsibility and innovation. Youll work directly with the Partner and help lead our accounting function, supporting a team of seven while mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities : Oversee the preparation of management and year-end accounts across a wide variety of clients. Implement and improve systems to increase efficiency and ensure high-quality data management. Supervise and support team members, helping enhance the technical work of our pre-accounts team. Provide clear, confident advice to clients on accounting and reporting matters. Work with the Partner to identify new ways to automate, analyse, and streamline our processes. Requirements : Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA). 5 years PQE with strong technical ability and attention to detail. Excellent communication and organisational skills. An ambition to grow with the firm and contribute to long-term succession.
