Civil Engineer

At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Civil Engineer to join our client’s growing team based in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Responsibilities :

• Review electrical project designs, drawings, and specifications; assist in producing detailed baseline programmes using Microsoft Project.
• Monitor and track project schedules; provide progress updates and technical reports to the Project Manager and client.
• Support in identifying risks, delays, and critical path activities; assist in preparing extension of time claims where required.
• Review and monitor project costs against budgets; flag any variances and propose corrective measures.
• Assist in identifying scope variations and provide input for negotiating additional costs with the client.
• Prepare and issue required project documentation and records in line with contractual obligations.
• Provide technical support to site teams including Site Agents, Supervisors, and QS staff.
• Support the preparation and review of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), electrical safety procedures, and other HSEQ documentation.
• Carry out inspections and assist with site audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and electrical standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design and coordination issues, proposing practical solutions.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with statutory regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
