Role
The Work Placement Coordinator is responsible for managing the Work Placement Programme, which is aimed at EU passport holders who wish to combine English language study with paid work in Ireland. It is the WP Coordinator’s responsibility to prepare students to secure a job in the service, retail, and hospitality sectors in Dublin.
This involves delivering weekly workshops and liaising with students and local businesses to arrange suitable job interviews. In addition to managing the programme, the Work Placement Coordinator liaises with and assists the other team members in the smooth running of the programme : Sales and Marketing- the point of contact for agencies based in different countries; the Academic Team, who are responsible for the placement assessment of candidates; and the Bookings & Accommodation team to ensure all extra-curricular issues are addressed.

Key Requirements & Competencies
Qualifications, experience and / or training in Project Management and / or Student Liaison Services.
General English ELT experience, Business English experience.
A knowledge of statutory labour regulations.
A positive, can-do approach and ability to take ownership of all aspects of this key role.
Hours
This is a part-time position of up to 15 hours per week, mainly between 1pm and 5pm with some morning hours scheduled.
