Speech & Language Therapist - Paediatrics (Midlands) Salary : €40 - €50 per Hour Location : Midlands Region (Longford / Meath / / Westmeath) Contract : Full-time, part-time, Long-term Locum About the Role Emerald Locums are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech & Language Therapist for a number of paediatric services across the Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact supporting children and families across both community and clinic-based settings. You'll work as part of supportive multidisciplinary teams delivering high-quality assessment and intervention services, with flexibility and strong professional support from both the client and Emerald Locums. Key Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for children presenting with a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with families and professionals
• Liaise effectively with colleagues across disciplines including OT, Physiotherapy, Psychology, and Social Work
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with HSE and professional standards
• Participate in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and service improvement initiatives Requirements
• CORU registration as a Speech & Language Therapist (essential)
• Recognised degree in Speech & Language Therapy
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience working with children
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
• Car and full driving licence preferred (community travel may be required) Benefits
