A position has now become available for a Sourcing and Purchasing Executive in our Dublin office.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for both strategic sourcing and procurement of healthcare supplies, as well as supporting the identification and implementation of business development opportunities to drive growth within the business and support hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, new service lines, strategic partnerships, and supplier innovations.

Support the development and implementation of revenue-generating initiatives.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decisions.

Build relationships with external stakeholders (suppliers, partners, and customers).

Source, negotiate, and purchase goods in line with clinical and operational needs.

Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring competitive pricing, high quality, and timely delivery.

Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to forecast demand and manage inventory.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory standards, and cost-saving initiatives.

Analyse purchasing trends and supply chain metrics to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in hospital procurement, supply chain, or healthcare business development.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Familiarity with healthcare regulations and medical supply vendors.

Excellent communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Proficiency in procurement platforms.
