Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer with significant years of experience to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge Issuer platform. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot to design, build, and deliver innovative solutions for a leading financial institution. You will work in a collaborative and agile environment, leading by example and mentoring junior developers, while contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, with a primary focus on backend development. Experience with front-end technologies like Angular is a plus.

Responsibilities :

Architect, design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant Java-based applications using Spring Boot, taking ownership of critical components and features.

Lead technical discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the Issuer platform.

Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.

Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to translate complex business requirements into robust and elegant technical solutions.

Drive the adoption of modern software development best practices, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and CI / CD pipelines.

Proactively identify and address technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions and mitigating potential risks.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Several years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.

Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

Proven ability to design and implement complex systems, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Experience mentoring junior developers.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks.

Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (, Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

Experience in the financial services industry.
