Company Accountant (Lisburn) VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with a growing business based near Lisburn to recruit a commercially astute hands on Finance Manager to take on a key role within the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the role will be broad in nature and be responsible for the management of a small finance team. What's in it for you? Take hands-on responsibility for payroll, invoicing, credit control, supplier payments, purchasing, and VAT reporting. Maintain purchase, sales, and nominal ledgers in Sage Intaact. Manage month-end close and prepare accurate management accounts and financial reports. Liaise with auditors, insurers, and external advisors, ensuring compliance and timely reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management. Contribute to business growth and strategic financial decisions. Recommend and implement improvements to finance systems and processes. Act as the senior finance point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. About you Either a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) OR a minimum of 5 years' relevant finance experience. Proven experience in a finance role with leadership responsibilities. Strong technical finance knowledge, including month-end close, reporting, and VAT. Hands-on approach, comfortable performing operational tasks alongside managing a team. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
