Hr Temp

CREGG is delighted to be recruiting a part-time HR Temp to provide professional HR support to a well-known educational provider based in Dublin.

As the HR Temp you will support the Head of HR, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant HR administration across the full employee lifecycle.

This rolling temporary contract is offering the candidate a 3-day work week with 1 day in the office and 2 days from home.

This role is critical to maintaining momentum on HR priorities, including contract management, recruitment, HR systems upkeep, payroll support, and defined HR projects.

The successful candidate will be an experienced HR professional who can take ownership of tasks, work with minimal supervision, and deliver outputs to a high standard in a fast-paced education environment.

Responsibilities Employee Lifecycle & Contracts Prepare, issue, and track employment contracts, including transitions from fixed-term to permanent.

Maintain visibility of contract end dates and ensure renewals or changes are actioned on time.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring documentation, systems access, and records are complete and compliant.

HR Systems & Records Maintain employee records on brighthr and Share Point.

Update and monitor HR trackers (e.g.

fixed-term contracts, probation, visas).

Ensure GDPR compliance in all document handling and storage.

Provide accurate and timely information for audits or compliance checks.

Recruitment & Onboarding Draft and place job adverts (e.g.

Indeed) and coordinate candidate responses.

Shortlist applicants against role criteria and liaise with hiring managers.

Schedule interviews and issue offers of employment.

Collect and verify right-to-work documents, references, and onboarding materials.

Payroll Support Track absences, contract changes, and other payroll-related data.

Ensure payroll adjustment information is accurate and submitted on time.

Liaise with Finance on payroll queries as required.

HR Projects Deliver defined HR projects to agreed deadlines (e.g.

data clean-up, contract transitions, tracker development, system improvements).

Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, follow-through, and clear reporting on progress.

Contribute to policy updates, compliance reviews, and development of new SOPs.

Identify opportunities to streamline or automate recurring HR processes.

Day-to-Day HR Support Respond to HR queries from managers and staff promptly and professionally.

Resolve administrative issues independently wherever possible.

Provide professional support to the Head of HR on people processes and project delivery.

Experience Minimum 23 years experience in an HR administration role.

Proven track record of delivering both day-to-day HR administration and project-based work.

Medium level familiarity with Irish employment practices and HR compliance.

Experience using HR systems such as brighthr (or similar), Share Point, AI, and Microsoft 365 tools.

Recruitment administration experience (adverts, shortlisting, interviews, offers).

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Proven ability to manage tasks and projects end-to-end with minimal oversight.

Clear and professional written and verbal communication.

Resourceful, proactive, and confident in problem-solving (including using digital tools and AI for guidance).

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
