Senior Systems Administrator - Co. Cork Excellent opportunity for a Senior Systems Administrator to join a thriving company in Co. Cork The Senior Systems Administrator will own and enhance our Client's on-premise and Azure environments. Key Responsibilities : Ensure day-to-day reliability, security and performance across Azure, Microsoft 365, networking & servers. Lead / mentor a Systems Administrator and act as a go to escalation point. Drive hardening, patching, identity, backup / DR, monitoring and incident response. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and future growth Partner with trusted vendors to deliver best in class outcomes across networking, virtualisation, infrastructure and cybersecurity. Influence roadmaps, standards and procurement. Key Requirements : Degree in IT or equivalent experience Proven experience in a senior level systems administration in a hybrid cloud setting. A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure. Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
