We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant dedicated candidate to join our team in providing personalized care and support to individuals living with dementia in our Nursing Home based in Co Kildare Permanent, Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to and enhance the quality of Resident activities and events.
- To supervise and assist with the training and development of care assistants and appraise staff as requested.
- By liaising with the Unit PIC and CNM ensure that adequate arrangements are made for the reception of new Residents, and that they are made to feel welcome and secure.
- Ensure the highest quality care is delivered by Healthcare Assistants to assigned Residents.
- Participate in assigned and delegated tasks involving direct care and all activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of your line manager e.g., washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, dining, social activities, conversation, communication support and all other aspects of daily living
- Support the nursing staff in the organising of day-to-day allocation of work.

QQI Level 5 Award - Healthcare or equivalentExcellent track record as a high performing healthcare workerA degree in nursing, allied health, or a related medical field is necessary.Elder care experience.
