The Role : JMK Group and the Waterford Marina Hotel has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Night Porter to join our team.

The Night Porter is responsible for the Hotel operations during the night.

Ensuring that all tasks and duties are completed to the highest of standards and ensuring an efficient and effective operation in the Front Office Department.

Main Duties : Greet and welcome our guests to the Hotel.

Register the guests and take payment.

Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information.

Update all guest information in the computer.

Take and confirm reservations to our guests.

Health & safety at night such as fire walks, security checks, other relevant health & safety duties Front Office duties including : running night audit, generating reports, completing reception duties To clean and maintain all public areas, public toilets, bars areas and any ad hoc cleaning for the next business day.

To ensure the security of the Hotel to the standard set by the Hotel Candidate Profile : Previous experience in a similar hotel position is required.
