Field Service Engineer Our client a market leader in the supplying, installation, and maintenance of a range of precision engineering equipment is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Kilkenny to join their expanding team. THE COMPANY : Our client has over 40 years' experience and is a technical distributor of manufacturing equipment to the electronics, pharmaceutical and medical device sectors across the UK and Ireland. With a highly skilled and technically experienced sales and engineering staff, our clients' customers are always in safe hands. The team provides a comprehensive after sales service, as well as a range of service packages to support its customers and ensure their equipment is always operating efficiently and at its optimum to protect the longevity of their operations. Due to our clients continued success they are seeking a Field Service Engineer in Kilkenny. THE ROLE : The successful Field Service Engineer will mainly be Kilkenny based and will be responsible for travelling to client sites that can be spread nationwide to Service and Maintain a range of precision equipment including lasers, robots etcetera and will occasionally be asked to commission and program machines on site after full training has been completed. THE PERSON : We are looking to speak to a range of Field Service Engineers based in the midlands, mainly Kilkenny with various experience levels and backgrounds : Any previous Field Service experience is advantageous. Electronic service experience is advantageous. Prior work with precision tools before - lasers, robots, some PLC's, or CNC's are a plus.
