Overview

Intercompany Accountant (RTR) – Global Organisation – Cork – Permanent

Berkley are delighted to be partnering with the 'Director of Finance' for a Global Pharma organisation here in Cork in their search for an 'Intercompany Accountant' (R2R).

This exciting position will form a key part of the RTR function.

The successful candidate will work a Hybrid arrangement : 2 / 3 days on-site with the remainder Remote if you wish.

What you'll get up in your new role

This position will be responsible for the Intercompany accounting activities within the RTR team.

Processing of intercompany cross charge transactions to include ESPP, Payroll, Stock (DER, RSU, NQ), T&E and BCD congress.

Reconciliation of intercompany accounts, ICO Product, ICO Non-Product, ICO Loan and ICO FX accounts in Blackline

Review of ICO AP & AR reports and request for settlement as part of IHC (In house cash) and reconciliation of IHC account in Blackline.

Responsible for booking Intercompany accruals at month end.

Settlement of intercompany transactions, resolution of intercompany differences.

Responsible for clearing activity on Intercompany accounts, ICO manual and IHC accounts.

Interact with local in-market finance teams (Payroll, FP&A and Stock plan services) to correctly recharge intercompany transactions, including advocating for the use of standard documents and ensuring correct level of backup for transaction

Continuous Improvement

The successful candidate will be empowered to contribute to the definition and maintenance of KPIs and establishment of a continuous improvement culture

Stakeholder engagement

From the 'get-go' you'll interact successfully with internal and external auditors and support quarter-end, interim and year-end audits by providing timely Intercompany updates and accurate data and communication.

You'll really make a success of this role if your background looks like this

Previous responsibility for preparing analysis and schedules for local management as well as internal and external auditors.

Proven ability to interact with peers, external customers, and functional group members at various management levels.

Stakeholder engagement skills will be key to you adding value to this key position & being a natural when it comes to influencing / engagement / collaboration is ideal as you'll definitely be required to gain cooperation of others, conduct presentations and / or provide financial information in a clear, concise manner when needed.
