We are Hiring Assistant Director of Nursing to a lead Nursing care home in Waterford, Ireland
Responsibilities
- Give the team and the home clinical leadership.
- Improve and take the lead in providing residents with person-centered care.
- Encourage the idea of person-centered care that attends to residents' physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
- Create action plans and carry out audits.
- Keep your working knowledge of pertinent rules, guidelines, and standards current.
- Planning for the workforce and hiring decisions, such as hiring, mentoring, and implementing the necessary corrective measures.
- Encourage and enable floor supervisors to perform their jobs well.
- Support, guide, and keep an eye on others for clinical and managerial decision-making.
- Analyze performance from a financial and business standpoint and help reach financial targets.
- Make certain that hazards are proactively recognized and assist the relevant parties in making sure they are reported and escalated as needed.
Requirements
A certified RGN who has provided care for an elderly person for at least three of the previous six yearsThree years or more of experience managing people in the health and social care sector.NMBI registration as of right now.A post-registration management degree in medicine or a similar discipline.It is very beneficial to get post-registration training in gerontology and dementia care.Thorough familiarity with HIQA rules and guidelines.The capacity to interact with residents, family members, coworkers, management, and outside organizations including HIQA, HSE, and general practitioners in an effective manner.Excellent organizational, financial, human, and planning abilities.Proof of ongoing professional growth.Benefits
