Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer

Our client, a leading expert in Data Centre design are currently recruiting for aSenior Project Electrical Design Engineer About You Honours Degree required (Chartered status preferred but not essential) 10+ years experience in a Senior Engineer role Proven background in electrical building services design, ideally within Data Centre projects Strong expertise in electrical design principles and engineering practices Comprehensive knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, and EN Standards Proficiency in AutoCAD,Dialux, Amtech; experience with REVIT highly advantageous Confident in leading projects from concept through to completion Strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and project managers Skilled in preparing specifications and designs for electrical building services across diverse projects Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency Your Role Day to Day Lead electrical services design across a variety of projects Prepare detailed designs and specifications for electrical services in different building types and sectors Create and review detailed schematics Contribute to the development and refinement of in-house electrical design standards Mentor and support junior engineers Deliver fully detailed tender packages and oversee installation / quality assurance on-site through to completion Produce tender reports, analyses, and recommendations Define and develop project scopes in collaboration with clients and design teams Confidently use Microsoft Office, AutoCAD,Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT in day-to-day tasks Prepare budgets, reports, and project documentation for clients Carry out site inspections and visits as required Take ownership of projects, requiring minimal oversight from senior management
