Finishing manager

Design Build Searchis seeking a Finishing Manager to work with our client's highly skilled team on a residential project in North Dublin.

The selected candidate will be part of a Tier 1 Main Contractor that is leading the way in modern construction methods using new technologies, sustainable materials and innovative building methods.

Responsibilities : Responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of on-site operations, including supervision of the labour force and oversight of specialist subcontractors.

Works closely with the project team to track progress and ensure alignment with agreed programme milestones.

Maintains a strong focus on quality assurance, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standards and in accordance with project specifications.

Ensures full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe and controlled site environment.

Builds and maintains positive relationships with the supply chain and subcontractors, contributing to a collaborative and productive site culture.

Qualifications : Brings over 10 years of site management experience, with a background in delivering complex construction projects.

Has previously worked with main contractors, particularly on large-scale structural, groundworks, and external works across commercial, residential, mixed-use, pharmaceutical, and data centre developments.

Holds a third-level qualification or trade certification, backed by a solid understanding of construction trades and processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant project management software.

Demonstrates strong organisational and delegation abilities, with a proven capacity to manage priorities in dynamic environments.

A collaborative team player, known for effective communication and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
