Job descriptionPart of the Underwriting team that act as a referral point for all broker queries. Dealing with our nationwide panel of approx. 500 brokers. Day to day queries about rating, pricing, and policy wording. Review pricing and rating on a regular basis to ensure consistency. Build and maintain broker relationships to ensure we are providing the best service possible. Dealing with quotes, mid-term adjustments and renewals, by phone / e-mail
Skills / Knowledge
- A minimum of two year's underwriting experience with motor and / or home insurance
- Must hold a minimum APA qualification, the CIP qualification is desirable.
- Can manage own workload and work to own initiative.
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
- Ability to build strong Broker relationships.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suites
- Strong market awareness
